I am appointed with HCO's companies and highly recommend Scott and his organization! I do not focus on health insurance, not because it isn't a good business. There are many on this forum that have a thrving business.

For myself, I make much more money with less headaches focusing on Life Insurance. It is a very simple process that allows me to write 5k-10k weekly. I have been referring my health insurance referrals to others as I don't want to mess with it.

This forum includes many independant agents that come form all back grounds that focus on different areas of our industry. There isn't a best way to go for everyone here as that is always determined on each person's situation. For some health is the best way, for others life is, and still others working with Seniors. I do believe that being an expert in one area makes sense though.

I want to have answers for my customers when I need help. I have called several different places and they all seem to have the same level of service based on my limited contact with them. Everyone I've talked to about me going into insurance possibly has said just call folks back and they will be beating the door down to give you money. I guess that is the case.
Anyway if someone has some other place they have real contact with that has GOOD service please post it here. I sat aside this afternoon so I could talk with them without being at a customers office and have wasted the day for nothing. Not a good start for sure. Anyone in the Kansas City area would be great but really anyone that gets you appointed with several good companies and support is given in a timely fashion will be a good start.

You are correct, immediate service is the key to success. If you have a carrier specific question I would be glad to help. My organization has day to day communications with about 100 carriers and limited with up to approximately 400 carriers. I have a carrier relations team that works with the carriers. I may not be able to answer your specific question, but I can send it out to the team. Thanks and good luck.
