Happy With RomneyCare

MA residents say they are mostly happy with RomneyCare since its implementation in 2006...but that there are still issues that need to be resolved. RomneyCare serves as a general template for PPACA, though Romney campaigned on repealing Obamacare if elected president.

they are only happy because the federal gov't kicked in ridiculous amounts of cash to keep that house of cards afloat....

Oh sure they are. However, there has been a steady increase in premiums since it was implemented along with a steady in flow of cash to keep it going. Costs have gone up beyond expectations every single year.

Not to mention, they haven't take a hit for those who can't afford the premiums, don't qualify for premium assistance, and are getting hit with state levels fines for not having coverage - from the Federal Level. We'll see how happy they are when they see a double fine for not being able to afford insurance here.

Add in the additional 'required' coverage that creeps up nearly every year, luckily not all of which passes the legislature.

Romney care got a high percentage of Mass residents covered, and a high number of illegals, but beyond that there isn't much to crow about here.
