Med Supp Appointment Question

Is it hard to get appointed to sell med supps? I have had no trouble getting appointed with about 4 FE companys. I only have about a 620 credit score and am new to insurance. I was laid off Nov 2008 but am doing better selling FE now.

I have a friend who just passed the test but had a B/R last year. Will he have trouble getting appointed to sell Med Supps?

Should not be a problem in most cases. We market both FE and supplements and most of our companies look for the same stuff with both.

As long as there are honest answers on the app and a good LOE for the BK, you should have no problem. The only exception is UHC. They have gotten incredibly tough lately (I have had 6 agents denied by them in the last 90 days). There may be questions about whether or not advances are offered, but the appointment itself should be an issue.
