Don't Trust the Provider Searches.

BCBSoKC and Coventry are both out of network at St. Lukes and St. Joe even though BCBS shows St. Luke as in network.


We may have a big provider shortage.

Gordon...Heartland Hospital in St. Joe is not in the BCBSKC or Coventry network on exchange plans? WOW. I live in St. Joe and have put a bunch of people on those plans. What other choice do they have? Thanks for the info.

Coventry is easy. Their provider network is easy. Use the Kansas Exchange POS for Tier 1 providers, the PPO Exchange for tier 2, anything else is non-par.

Blue Cross still has no way to look up the difference in on vs. off exchange network providers.
