I have two questions about Medica health insurance. I know companies like PreferredOne have a 18 month until conception rule on pregnancies. What about Medica? If you are on a medica group plan then switch to medica individual after you quit a job is it still the same elimination period or does it start over since it is a new policy?

Generally, there is no allowance for transition from group to individual. Your state and that carrier may be different.

Will almost certainly start over but it doesn't hurt to call the carrier to make sure.
