No, you should tell the truth. But, you claimed that you didn't want your "prior" associations to reflect on you now. Still doing business with crooks is not prior.

What lie? Get over yourself, allcaps. Parker and Asses still steal from agents everyday. Ali still steals from agents everyday.

I try not to burn any bridges, and I have been around long enough to know that I should take precautions along the way to protect myself. Ali and my other associates hire me because I have a set of skills they need. If a client called you that you knew were less than ethically perfect people, would you still write them on a policy and just take more precaution in the process? Perhaps some people would, and perhaps some people would not. I personally, would write the policy and use the agent report page to disclose any pertinent information I may have on the matter. Or I might take other precautions to help facilitate the smooth flow of the transaction. I don't necessary turn the business away.

What I ask is that you don't hold the animosity you hold towards Ali and misdirect it at me because of my associations. I am not he person who took your $10, I was not even with him when that happened.

I would not take an app from a person that I knew to be unethical. Nor is my concern with Ali the $10 that you are dismissive about. Ali is a crook. You chose to do business with a crook and that's fine for you to do business with whomever you chose. You will, however, be known for your chosen associations. Good or bad.

Not taking an app on a person that you consider unethical is your choice. A person who takes an app on a person who is unethical is not a unethical in themselves. An attorney who defends a criminal is not a criminal, a doctor who cures a murderer is not a murderer, a personal trainer who trains with a bully is not a bully. Whether or not Ali is a crook, or any of my other associates are, is their concern and not mine. I take care of myself and I don't answer for them.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but it appears from your comments you are a hired gun willing to work for folks from the dark side. Kind of like a mercenary.

Is this a fair assessment?

I suppose a more appropriate, and realistic analogy may be that I am an independent contractor that has a set a skills to offer. I am associated with agencies that are not very well liked, as well as those that are well liked. I don't prejudge any people based off of other's perception of them.

Prostitutes have a set of skills and don't pass judgement on their clients either.

True. So do the above mentioned professions as well as insurance agents.

You are twisting the discussion around now. I should have expected as much from one that sees nothing wrong with working with Ali and Parker and Asses.

You didn't say anything about suspecting a person was unethical. You asked if I "knew" they were less than ethical. I'm sure I've done business with unethical people. In fact, I know I have. Parker and Asses and Ali come immediately to mond. I did not know they were unethical when I first did business with them. I know now and I will not do business with them. I would like for Parker and Asses to send me my money that they steal everyday, but, that ain't gonna happen.

The reason I asked you in the first place is because I had heard about Ali's helper, Tristian, and wondered if it was you. I really expected you to say it wasn't.

I understand your frustration with Parker as well as Ali, and if it were within my abilities; I would do what I can to assist. I have a role to play with them, but it is not a role that has that authority.

As for denying who I am or lying about my associations, I choose not to do so. As much as Ali and Parker may be disliked; I believe their production and influence may speak for themselves. Mircrosoft is highly disliked by people, as well as many insurance carriers. News speak everyday of improper insurance practices, and yet the carriers are still in business and still producing. I have read the post of NAA here as well as Mega. I am not associated with those organizations, but I can see they are not well received on this forum. That being said, it has not stopped them from doing business in the public and still continue to thrive.

I try to not pass judgment on others, as I am not perfect in my actions. I try to do the best I can, and act in the way I see is best for me. Being human, I do not always succeed, and I try and make up for my mistakes. My girlfriend will tell you that sometimes I can be a complete jerk, and others the best guy in the world. I try to keep this in mind about others when dealing with them. I find it has served me well in life as well as in business.
