I have a client who needs short term coverage (90 days). The problem is she takes a med for depression(for one year). She was a decline with Golden Rule. Can anyone suggest another carrier.

Once declined it is almost impossible to get coverage. GR doesn't ask about depression on their STM app (unless there is a different app in your state). Must have been another reason for the decline.

Try HPA. Believe their app doesn't ask if you have ever been declined.

I didn't apply yet. What I did do was call underwriting to see if she would qualify. Who is HPA? How bout' Assurant,Aetna or World? I do appreciate the help

Then they have not been declined.

Most short term applications ask if anyone has been declined.

If not bi-polar as long as the application does not ask you are probably ok anywhere, as long as short term is indeed appropriate and they have coverage starting for sure after 90 days.

Short term won't cover the pre ex condition or RX hopefully the client knows this.
