Guys I am doing a research paper for my masters degree and really need to know some very important facts about the US insurance world. Where can I find info on things like

Insurance market size
Insurance yearly revenue
Number of people in the US
How much money people spend on insurance
Online insurance market, esurance financials, etc

Basically any and all info on the US insurance market. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really need to get this done and I have come up empty on my searches.

Thanks for the info. Kind of looking for some direct links that have market revenue for the insurance industry as a whole. I know it is huge, but there has to be some reports floating out there.

How about magazine articles in Life Underwriters, Sales Journal and Life Insurance Selling. Good article in this months edition of InsuranceNewsNetMagazine.com which states that 40% of Americans do NOT have life insurance and that sales of life insurance are down 39% since 1995 (17.5 million policies to 10 million. These facts are from LIMRA (Life Insurance Marketing & Research Association), which is another excellent source for you. The article also states that the number of life agents is down.
