This is a great forum, very insightful. Maybe some of you could provide me with some guidance. I am a new agent starting an independent agency. I have no previous insurance experience but figured it would be a good fit because of my marketing background and my wife works on the company side of the industry.
The company is set up, I plan to write business P/C through wholesales until I can get appointed with a few carriers. And I have a marketing plan (have figured out a great niche play) and am working on marketing materials. But I lack experience in selling, I need sales help but have no clue where to look for an insurance sales professional who has an entrepreneurial background. I am looking for someone I can partner with in this venture. Anyone have any idea’s or suggestions on where would be a good place to look? Or if you are interested let me know.
