I've been thinking about an idea that may be helpful to those of us that are new to the insurance business. I am wondering if we could start a new webinar for us to share our experiences, things that work and things that don't,etc. Maybe we could even have someone with more experience to lead a webinar to give us ideas on how to market insurance, prospecting ideas, and product knowledge, as well as tips on presenting products and closing sales.

We could do this using a service like gotomeeting.com or another program similar to that. I would be glad to head this up if others are interested. Of course it would cost me so I would need you to pitch in a couple of dollars a month to pay for the service, probably just a dollar or two, depending on how many people show interest in it.

I think that we should limit access to one agent per state so we don't step on each others turf, or maybe a couple of people if it is a different line of insurance product than the first agent to register offers.

Pease let me know if this is sounds interesting to you. For the more experienced agent's, let me know if you may be interested in sharing your knowledge.

I would specify specifically what type of insurance you are marketing: P&C, Life/DI, Health? Each type is it's own animal and requires a different approach.

That is a good point, NO P&C, I would say we should concentrate on Life, Final Expense, Med. Supps, but we won't limit ourselves to those if someone wants to talk about something else. That would be up to the majority. It would be good to get guys and gals together for a wrap session once a week or so.

I think it is a great idea for people like me who are interested to go deeper on insurance selling. It would be like a one stop shop for knowledge and training.
