The docs are the same whores who are trying to get a mandate so that they will get a windfall and then knock carriers out of the equation so that there will be more margin to keep paying them too much. With friends like them who needs enemas?

Problem is , it is not going to go that way. Even if carriers kill the public option they will need to cut reimbursements to providers in order to keep the trigger from kicking in. And if the docs try to pivot over to the public option side or to medicare or medicare they are looking at peanuts over there too. I mean smaller peanuts than the current peanuts. The fact that Congress is making them get on their hands and knees and beg for a while longer before passing the doc-fix has to be a wake-up call for some of the whores who chose turn tricks in the back room rather than fight like a man.

Of course it is not too late. Could be quite soon though. Fight you cowardly whores or get back on your knees and take your crumbs.

The AMA is small subsection of doctors. Arround 10% of doctors belong to the AMA. So don't let the AMA speak for doctors ingeneral.

My guess is medical school enrollment will drop rapidly in the coming years if a public option paying peanuts is adopted. And by definition a public option will have to pay peanuts in order to cut costs. Cost cuts have to come from somewhere and they sure aren't coming from big Pharma.

Us poor souls in rural states might find ourselves driving a hundred miles or more to find a physician. I have trouble finding a dentist in my area and dentists rake in the dough here. My guess is we will be flooded with dentists if the public health care option comes to fruition. We need a public option for dental care as well. We don't want to look like those Brits, do we?

Oh, I understand that piece but what are the other doctor lobbying group(s) and what are they saying that is not represented by the AMA and are they meeting with the White House too.

Unfortunately, some/many of the other doctors are much further to the left of the AMA which doesnt help, and, again, if they are not, who is representing them, because that is how Washington and public option work.

True, enough many of the physicians are hanging with the AMA on this. They are over with Docs for Obamacare or Physicians for Single Payer. Somehow that does not comfort me.

Similarly, the U.S Chamber of Commerce is beginning to fracture and they are not the only voice for business anymore. Many of the members speak for Obama now. Gotta get in good with socialist government.
