That comment was not unintentional. Hillary is far better than that. I'm not sure what she has to gain by it, but I doubt she would make that sort of gaff.
Funny thing is, it took me about a day for it to sink in what she really meant by the comment.

Indeed I see that that is correct. The notion of Hillary doing anything that was not calculated is absurd . It is just that more and more of the Clinton machines calculated moves are blowing up them. Bill's comments about Jesse Jackson in South Carolina. Hillary's absurd Bosnia assertions, etc.
Goofy stuff, and Michelle is taking notes. Hillary aint the only minority or femi-nazi in town anymore and she is on the receiving end of those gigs now. She spent the last 7 years convincing the country that we needed a change. Now, many agree, but she is not it. Have a nice day Hillary.
REally? I guess I don't find it particularly offensive, it was the way it came out of her mouth that got the weird thing going. From the first I interpreted it as her "I don't give up" scenario, and why should she? If she did, she would be handing Obama the nomination on a silver platter and prove she's not up for the "fight" against McCain. But of course, she could have made her point without bringing up RFK at all. It is a long vetting season and I bet that the Dems will be seriously looking at making changes next time around. First off, get rid of Dean. But he was good for a laugh!

Well that might be but there are many view that we might not find offensive but wont get us many delegates either if we express them. Hillary is hustling for votes. We are not as far as I know. Its best not to say stupid things that sound like "I am staying in the race because you never know when Obama might be assasinated." That is the take home message that a lot of people got. If they are wrong in getting that message then Hillary now needs to spend her precious time telling them that they heard something else. Dumb. Really, really dumb. Same thing with the Rev. Wright thing. Even if someone has a long academic argument about why it is understandable, it squandered Obama's time on the trail. But, hey. Hillary can always bring Bill out to help her. tee hee hee. Or perhaps she can call Michelle up and talk woman to woman in ways that us guys can't. Tee hee encore. Michelle will bitch slap her.
Whoever is president for the next four years is going to catch the blame for some very, VERY, serious economic problems.
Funny that the folks don't catch on that the president of the U.S. has very little real influence on the economy, especially when global factors are at play.
In any event, the "it's the economy stupid" voters who gave us Bill Clinton are going to eventually crucify the "winner" of this election. Maybe Hillary is positioning herself to be "the one you should have chosen" when a really huge crap pie hits the fan in the next couple of years. Personally, I wouldn't take the job because I think the U.S. is about to catch the whirlwind for decades of poor and non-existent planning.

Ugh....not that I want either Clinton or Obama to win but.....with an even MORE Democrat-controlled congress, it would almost be refreshing to see nothing get accomplished over the next 4 years, and then a "throw ALL the bums out" cleansing could ensue.....
