Norvax Incorporating Same Technology As Insurint Now?             Go to Top

I just went to run a quote and noticed that Norvax now allows you to add a percentage or dollar-amount rate-up to the standard quotes for each carrier, and has a note that says "NEW - Carrier does not provide underwriting guidelines". Is this Norvax's attempt to incorporate the same technology Insurint is using to add rate-ups and such based on each carrier's guidelines?

In the "Beta" stage.

Pretty neat...mainly for follow-up quotes...not the initial one.

Much better than sending separate quotes to explain the benefits on one PDF file and having them cross-reference that with the actual premiums on another. Sure would be nice if they could do it by the different levels that Anthem has though.

On a side note, does anyone know how to delete a spouse without getting an error message and having to re-type in all the info?

You can "edit" the "Personal" info field and delete a spouse. Or...if you are a fan of "Big Love,"...you can add three more spouses.

Every time I edit the fields I get an error saying that the spouse's date of birth is incorrect even though all the fields show as blank.

I'm not sure what's going on there. Just type in numbers only (no dashes) and see if that works. IE 12221967

From what I have seen, Norvax' feature is VERY different from Insurint. I recommend agents get the full picture and get a demo of both products, and ask detailed questions, before making their choice based on a general statement such as "we have pre-underwriting now too!"

If you would like to see Insurint, please call us at 1-800-446-7874, or visit us at Schedule Live Demo to set up a demonstration. You may also private-message me here on the forum- please include your contact information in your message. Thank you.

We pride ourselves in our contact with agents, so this surprises me, and I apologize. Please email me at mseghers@insurint.com or via private message and I will respond immediately and personally. - Mark from WI

Dgoldenz: Try seeing how responsive Norvax is. You email them you may get an answer a week later, if ever. Impressive service after they get you locked into their contract.

You must have dealt with a bad sales rep HEALTHGUY, because I get responses from my contact there within an hour most of the time. Support might take up to 24 hours, but support with any company can be delayed.

And I have to admit that Norvax is very responsive to my requests. I know I ask much more than the normal broker, and they still deliver.

On a more serious note...Mark...I couldn't bring myself to draft either of the Cubs closers in our last fantasy draft. I thought they would let Marmol be the guy, but maybe not. Could it be the dreaded "closer by committee"?

I've never had Norvax take more than a few hours to solve any technical problems and my sales rep has always taken care of my questions with no delays.

Chumps, glad someone finally got down to a business topic here. However, you have confused me with someone who cares about the Cubs in a way other than wanting them to lose very badly. I mean, wanting very badly for them to lose very badly. Like 25-0 every day, with every game played in Miller Park.

My list of favorite teams:
1. Whoever is playing the Cubs
2. Whoever is playing the Yankees
3. Milwaukee Brewers
4. All other Major League teams except for Yankees and Cubs
5. Yankees
6. Cubs

I realize this message may cause Insurint to lose potential customers in IL and NY, but NY I'm not so worried about because it's a guarantee issue state. IL, well, let's hope most IL insurance agents are Sox fans.

We now return you to your normal programming.

Our phones are working, our voicemail is working, our email is working, and we are not in the habit of failing to return prospects' calls (nor is any company for that matter).

I'm not saying it didn't happen, we are not perfect, but there's not enough information here for me to investigate.

Sorry Mark. You're right. I realize you're a Brewers fan. It has been a few months since the season ended!

I don't think I got any Brewers in my last draft. Of course, Braun was gone before I got to him. I have a draft this weekend and Hart will probably be gone before I can get to him.

I do have Hardy rated higher than most. I have a feeling he'll have a better year than expected.

Hardy (defensively) and Braun (offensively) rock. Hart...? Hmmm. Let's just say he never saw a pitch he didn't like.
