Yep, saw that and thought it was down and dirty but then I thought that the AHIP crowd has all the madison ave power in the world at their disposal so if they cant play this game better than pelosi, the hell with 'em.

I would just come out and start calling the private option the "Affordable Consumer Choice Option."

Does Pelosi have some trademark or government registered name that we have to worry about infringing upon? I dont think so.

How bout we just start calling her plan PelosiCare so as to bring the magic of her personna to the government plan.

Love the no-taxpayer funds piece.

Well, what a dilemna now...
Many progressive senators have said they will not vote for it if it doesn't include a public option. I guess, if they stick to their word, a consumer option is not a public option, so therefore, they won't vote for it???? Or is it 'just words'?

I'm not sure where the house count is currently, not sure anyone knows. But the senate count isn't great for a public option right now. We'll see how the arm twisting goes in the next few weeks.

What actually happened - the bridge was simply not dramatic enough. What worked way back then just isn't enough today.

Therefore, Nancy Pelosi decided that for a much more dramatic effect, she would use the Golden Gate Bridge as the setting. Now, if only she could find a body....
