All Obama has ever had was polish, I am hoping he develops some substance.

Good, because there are plenty more caskets that will be arriving back from Afg as he takes us in deeper. He will have more opportunities to show his base how much he cares in his heart of hearts.

Well, I am going to weigh-in on the "Obama's out to ruin our country" wave. I don't believe that, frankly. I think he is starting to be humbled by the enormity of the job he has been elected to do. I don't think he had ANY idea of what he was getting into. To this point, I also think that he had no business being president of The United States. Very underqualified. Poor management skills. Awful candor. He still makes fundamental mistakes, like the failure to address the Ft. Hood killings initially in his speech the other day. I voted against the man, but I am starting to see some faint signs of progress. I am still not sure where we are going, but I know where we have been.
He is still too young to have gained enough experience. The presidency is not all about brains.
He is 46 or 47. Plenty old enough for a person to have gained good experience in small business, the corporate world, being a governor, the military or having run something.
The problem is not his age. The problem is that he has only had talky-talky jobs and sometimes talky-talky is not enough.
The only way an unqualified, undignified candidate like this could be elected? An under-educated, history ignorant, new generation who depends on MTV to enlighten them on world events...We have a trainee in office who is making all the trainee mistakes. As for the V.P., he IS old enough to know better. Change for the sake of change.
