I think both parties are responsible and should share the blame for giving the banks such free range. And the people buying with no money down or interest only loans.

It would be nice for the two parties to stop blaming each other and get to work actually coming up with solutions. But we are not going to get that in an election year. I doubt we will see any real action till next year with a Lame Duck President.

I like the idea of another Resolution Trust Co. that some economists are floating around. Get some of the bad loans off of the banks and have them use real loan guidelines again.
