The messiah has spoken! Looks like his end goal is to have the MAPD plans totally self sufficient, with no subsidies from the government. The plans with a high medical loss ratio area already operating on a shoestring budget and have cut benefits this year to stay afloat. This would essentially force a lot of plans out of business.

I think Mr Frank has said that the tidal wave of med supp business is coming, and this is just one more indicator of that. People who can afford med supps could be so much better off!!

It seems like he doesn't get the ramifications that those funding cuts are having on our clients....right now.

There were funding cuts last year during the Bush administration, so you can't blame it all on him
