Seriously, I think Dick Cheney's numbers in the polls have risen considerably. Perhaps I should chart that out on a graph. I am sure that the point where Obama's decending numbers crosses over Cheney's rising numbers is a buy or sell signal of some sort. Of what I don't know. If you sell Harry Reid stocks short you would do pretty well though I think.

Cheney is not exactly what you would call an interesting personality but I will tell ya it is ironic that many of us can remember decades ago when the press and others basically dismissed any role for Cheney due to his heart condition. Holy Guacamole, he has more miles on those pacemakers now than I had on my old VW. Now people are beginning to wonder if the old fart is actually ever going to go away. Sweet revenge and a real tribute to modern American medicine.

In regard to Cheney's continuing concern about security he believes that Al Queda will kill us if we dont stop them and that the Bush Administration did some things right to stop them after 911. This is at odds with Obama's worldview which is that American arrogance and failure to communicate with the Muslim world has led to our chickens coming home to roost. In fact, that belief was literally his religion before being elected.

The Cheney legacy in Washington will not end with Dick of course. Liz is coming right up.

O, and youre delusional if you think a small slip is tanking, the truth is he is still over 50%. Any Politician would love that.
