Online Education Help

Hi All,

Was wondering if you guys could recommend an online school for my pre-license education (Pennsylvania)? Any schools you would advise to stay away from?? Looking to start the learning process next week. But need to do online for scheduling purposes..

It will be interesting to see what kind of response you get. I'm in the same boat and have looked at Kaplan, but there must be others that people like as well.

I had once seen some first-time pass stats broken down by company... and looked for this but couldn't find it. You may wish to search and spend some time reading independent accounts of stats, not what is provided by the company. L2Go was pretty high, Kaplan wasn't all that high, going from memory.

I have heard the most pos feedback about License2Go... I think it is www.license2go.net

I have no financial interest in this company or any other in this field but only mention this because I am such a helpful sob and I have nothing better to do at the moment... but I am going to the race track here in a little bit, so after that... all bets are off... I mean ON. I feel a *BIG* Superfecta in my near future.

Thanks SportsNut, I hadn't heard of that company. I'll check them out. I've looked at Kaplan and AD Banker, anyone have any experiences with either that they'd like to share... Also, do these courses teach all that is needed to know for the exam (obviously not all needed to do well in the industry)??

I did my prelicensing work with Kaplan online. It was a great class, thorough, and did an outstanding job of preparing me for the final exam. I actually failed the practice test eleven times in a row, then went and passed the real thing on the first try -- and when I did, it was a walk in the park. If you can do well with Kaplan's online course, you'll be fine.

I like ExamFX - Interactive Online Training

I used them for my securities licenses online and back before they were online, and were CD only for my insurance licenses.

I went with Kaplan and passed first time. My buddy went with License2go. I liked the way the L2G information was presented better than Kaplan. My buddy was having trouble studying Kaplan but went right through the L2g and passed his first time. Not familiar with the other mentioned above.
