After the $5,000 Baby Bond fiasco, and what was that other thing she vocalized then dropped? It's amazing her handlers let her open her mouth any longer. And Bill Clinton thinks she's the smartest woman on the planet?

Face it, even if Ron Paul were elected President, he wouldn't be able to change the direction of this country 1 iota. Look at all the Democrats have accomplished in the past year (since they won their "mandate"). You have to cut these nuts off at the knee, and that is done locally. Which explains why nuts like Maxine Waters, William Jefferson, Ray Nagin, Kathleen Blanco, Barbara Boxer, and the $250 million "Bridge to Nowhere" IDIOT Ted Stevens keep getting elected - they keep bringing home pork to their districts. (Oh and yes of course I know some of these idiots are voted out of office from time to time, but it just doesn't happen soon enough!)
Therefore, Ron Paul will never get my vote. It might qualify as a "protest vote" but would ultimately have no meaning. Would like to be proven wrong here, though!

The story does read funny, but actually the text quoted from Clinton's speech does not match the headline or the lead-in to the article. Clinton's speech merely said that she believed that continued high oil prices would benefit the US in the long run; obviously she would not then say that her election then would immediately decrease oil prices (if that were harmful).
So it seems either the author or editor were determined to manufacture a story, something not uncommon in journalism.

What the heck are you talking about. Read the transcript of her statement or watch a video of it yourself instead of accusing someone of manufacturing the story. She flat out said that the price of oil would drop if she were elected because the oil producing countries would want to thwart her energy conservation efforts by making oil more affordable.
She is running for President and she said what she intended to say and should be judged on that for better or worse.

The problem is that there are several good canidates that could beat Clinton but they do not get much press. I personally like Mike Huckabee but he gets little press time and therefore no exposure.
Clinton will say whatever she thinks that she can get away with. But I think that she is hurting right now. If she does make it to the election there are to many groups that don't like for her to win. There will be an anti-Clinton uprising from the christian grassroots that will push in a mediocre republican canidate. But he won't have enough push to do anything. The 2000 election seriously damaged our countries confidence in the election process and it will take a strong unifying canidate to bring it back. Until then we are stuck in this political rut.

Add in the fact there seems to be a growing trend within the DNC itself against another Clinton. If she some how did win (which I don't see plausible), that means the Clinton's will have a 24-32 years of leadership of the Democratic Party. I'm thinking some or many Democrats are now waking to that fact, and not likeing it one bit!

I saw a clip on TV with Hillary saying just exactly what she was purported to be saying. Dont know if it is on youtube or what yet. Also you can search all of the legit newspapers onling and see if any of them contend that she was misquoted. She was not. Probably the video is round and about on yourtube by now or somewhere. If I need to adjust my comments when we see that, then I will. Meantime, I stand by them.

She is so absolutely full of crap. She yaps on and on about all these "things we can do" - imagine! Solar arrays in deserts! Can you believe it? Well, she didn't mention any gnatcatchers that will be harmed as a result (whatever a gnatcatcher is!) and yet, her actions speak louder than her words. She is a do-nothing senator with no record of accomplishment but I will give her an "A" for Oratory Skills.
