Not following you there.
What makes you a victim of a scam or prey?
When one enters into contract, joins a team/organization, etc. and fails to excercise caution and investigate the validity and ethics of the other party I hardly feel they are a victim.
Sounds like you've discovered some usefull information that should help you make a more educated decision about joining with the organization you mentioned. Congratulations.

From what I am hearing, Parker and Asses is coming apart at the seams-- they are desperate for production having sunk a ton of money into non-medicare marketing ventures. You should avoid this outfit like the plague...

Before anyone does gets it confused, I thought I might point out that Great American Marketing and Great American Life Ins. Co. have nothing to do with one another. Two totally different companies.

One of the posters there makes a comment that Parker and TAG are associated. Is that true?

Appreciate that clarification. It did spin me for a bit. I do a small amount of business with Continental General which is now part of Great American and they just pay me when I do a sale and I never gave it much thought otherwise. Kind of the way it is supposed to be.

Parker will not pay! Sold tons of Medicare Advantage and they did not pay as agreed and paid no renewals. They are unscrupulous and are career criminals in my opinion.

P'asses even had the audacity to send out a contract addendum to assign renewals to them recently. I won't sell for them anymore, much the less sign that crap. Doesn't matter though, I will never see a penny of renewals. Plus, they STILL have my escrow in their possession. It does appear that the last laugh will be mine though, as agents that are still with them are telling me of their demise...

I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who has something positive to say about PA? I don't, but maybe someone else does? Come on..there has to be someone out there who feels great about them, yes?

The people that are keeping the commissions. I had an agency out of Georgia that did that to me back in the 80's....taking my escrow and using it elsewhere. Some of those policies are still active....med-supps with CSO.

LOL...they've ripped too many folks off to not be what their talked about as, on this forum. I am so glad I don't deal with having an agency pay me. Too much BS with it.

I do speak from experience. I was appt to several companies through them. I managed to get out of all of the appts and escape with them owing me a couple hundred dollars. I only wrote a dozen or so CIP plans and all of them moved to a different and better plan the next year. The Humana and UHC appts I had through them were fairly easy to desolve, but it took some time.
They are a GREAT company not to be associated with.

I've noticed that P&A are now trying to wrangle in agents to sell DME. Stay away from these guys! Do your research before going in with any FMO, because these guys can be tricky. If you want to see what I'm talking about, go to North Carolina's SCC and look through some of the assurance groups documents. You'll find Dalvin Parkers signature.
