I immediately thought that it looked great and was colorful and pleasant. It made me want to see what each block said. I guess different strokes for different folks.
Thanks for the honest feedback guys, not sure I really wanted to hear that but....
We all know what they say about opinions. We can all weigh in, but unless we're your target market, I'm not sure you need the opinions of a bunch of agents. The only thing that really matters is what your prospects and customers think of the site and if the site attracts and converts them.
Here are a few ideas:
1. Show it to a few customers. If you can, peek over their shoulder to see how they use the site. It's amazing what you can learn by watching a real customer use your site.
2. Install Google Analytics or some other tracking program and watch how people are using the site. Are they getting to the pages you want them to?
3. Take a look at Steven Krug's book "Don't Make Me Think". It'll give you some good ideas on what's important in design and what's not.
Clean design... you might consider having your header done professionally.

I like the front page look a lot, couple things I don't like:
The page layout, I don't like having to scroll down to see verbage after I click a page link. Also, there isn't a contact page other than the 800 number. Personally, I'm from PA myself and was checking to see where you were located and got frustrated I couldn't find anything. I'm sure clients would want to know where you're from as well (especially in Pennsyltucky, sort of a hometown state still).
Dont really like the wordpress template - its too much. I'd go for simpler. People are trying to find information not pop their pupils looking at a million colors.
I think it goes together fairly well. Some of the fonts over the pictures are a little hard to read for me like Health. But that is just me I don't see the best anyway. I would put my glasses on but haven't went to eye doctor yet!
I like your referral rewards program. Think I will steal it. Overall nice site.

If anyone would take a look at betzinsuranceagency -com and let me know what you think about the site. It is being professionally maintained but is not driving many visitors. Thanks in advance!
Many people just follow links without reading any information. With so many options on the first page I think the pictures help direct the "deer in headlights" type of people. The use of a gradient stretched across your subpages could look so-so on some computers. Maybe a shorter/quicker changing gradient between the center and right column could be used. Just my two cents. Nice site and use of WordPress.
You need to personalize it. You have an 800# at the top. Looks like a website from across the coutry somewhere. Add your local adress and phone, let them know your a local, real person. You are thier neighbor, so let them know. I dont think the colors will hurt anything. The print is large, and thats good. The entire home page is above the fold, thats good too.
I like the look, although I found that many pictures to be overwhelming too--but like someone else said your target may love that.
I found a lot of the text to be...wonky. Like you were saying things without really making an impact. Also, there are some mistakes throughout. Here is an example from the blog:
Auto insurance will assure the fact that your finances are well protected when it comes to the weight of expenses that are concerned with repairs and other concerns with automobile accidents. Accident coverage can get expensive and bring an unneeded strain on your budget and so it is the insurance company that pays for these depending on which policy is your car under. Therefore, choosing the right insurance company that can offer the best kinds of coverage can is your best bet in protecting your car and your finances.
This is a quick rewrite, but I would have gone more this way:
Auto insurance insulates your personal finances from the strain of necessary and expensive post-accident automobile repairs. By protecting your budget with the right accident coverage and the most affordable deductibles, you avoid an unexpected hardship on your wallet and the gradual depletion of assets that those without auto insurance protection are exposed to.
Many consumers are already so confused about insurance, you want to give them the urgency to buy in a really plain, relatable way.
