Wait until he approves 20,000 more troops for Afg in an attempt to meet McCrystal and his far left somewhere in the middle so they both will still love him. What is needed is the leadership and punch to either "win" or pull out and there is merit to both arguments. Consequently, they both will end out hating him and for good reason and it will create a dangerous and confused position for the troops.
Update: Right as we speak I am listening to NPR with a caffeine IV drip in my arm. They are informing listeners that there is a special coming up on PBS tonight at 9:00 about Afg and to be sure to watch "Obama's War" at 9:00. Holy Shoot, Obama's War - and this on PBS the bastion of libs. As discussed, the word "inherited" would get President Obama some mileage but it would wear thin sooner or later.
