I'm sure I was one of them, I've had a more positive response than most folks. I interview them myself, train them, and listen in on their calls randomly. They do a good job and usually generate pretty good leads if it's for the right product and in the right areas. I've had the do FE, Medd Supp, and health insurance leads all effectively.

In order to get good results I had to hire all my telemarketers directly. Adding a middleman, that doesn't know the insurance industry, is going to make the learning curve expensive. You're better off just hiring the right people at whatever price they cost, stateside or overseas, and know you're going to get better results rather than trying to save a few bucks because it looks good on paper. I paid a company out of CA over $30/hour for "professional" telemarketing and I've got folks that work for less than $30/day that do a better job then they ever did. Part of it comes down to matching the right people up with the right campaign, but expect to invest a significant amount of time and money into this before you start realizing a good ROI.
