JD Powers’ 2016 Property Claims Satisfaction Study was released in late February, and while overall customer satisfaction with the property claims experience dipped for the first time in 5 years, one company continues to own the top of the rankings.
For the fifth straight year, Amica Mutual ranks highest in overall satisfaction with the property insurance claims experience, achieving a score of 898 on a scale of 1,000. Auto Club of Southern California Insurance Group ranks second at 879, followed by COUNTRY Financial, Encompass, and Erie Insurance, all scoring 863 in a tie. The study also notes USAA achieved a high level of customer satisfaction, but is not eligible for the rankings due to the closed nature of its membership.
