Need Help with Builder Risk / Home Under Construction Policy

I am looking for a home under construction / builder risk policy that includes liability and theft coverage.


ASI has a great rate on their product but excluding theft bothers me.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Theft of building materials is standard exclusion.

In IN and IL Pekin will write Builders risk and can add theft of materials coverage. It's pretty slick. Also, when home is complete, you remove builders risk. Policy number stays the same so need to rewrite.

After I finished my response, I thought of something. You're client may not need theft coverage as long as the contractors or subs have installation floater on their GL.
