Yes, all mine are.

Of course you can.
Things to keep in mind if you do though, you can't treat them like a regular employee - set hours, micromanage tasks, etc. It's basically someone you bring on board to develop new business, but you don't keep them on a leash, if you get what I mean.

Yep, you let them roam free. Eat what they kill. It's a great deal for self motivated individuals. Not so much for people that need a kick in a to do anything. Sink or swim. Pass or fail.
