What are your best methods for bringing in new Commercial Accounts?
Walk in w/out appointment?
Call?
Mail?
Leads?
Expired list?
I am a Nationwide Agent but can broker out inelible risks to surplus too.
I was given a plan by primary agent in the agency to increase commercial business in 2016 by visiting prospects for 3 or 4 hrs one day per week.
I feel like maybe there's a better way. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

What class of business is really hot with Nationwide right now? If you don't know, find out and target that class. Maybe Garage and tow trucks? Not sure what state your in, but in AZ your killing it on that class. Whatever the class, get to know that business, and get to know your product, in and out.

Best way to target that class?
Mailer with a follow up phone call? - yes
Phone call with follow up visit? - yes
Phone call by itself? - yes
In person cold call visit - yes.

No real answers here, just prospecting activity.

Your prospecting goal is to get the decision maker's name and the X date. Then move on to the next. I totally agree a weekly prospecting plan. Allocate the time and work it. Soon you will be starting your week with hot X dates to work, plus adding more.

Good luck and good selling. Welcome to the forum.
