Posted an article (link below) about some unconventional ways homeowners and renters insurance protects policyholders – particularly in liability cases involving non-auto related accidents and incidents like dog bites. A jury in Colorado just awarded a $263,000 judgment to an injury victim of a ski resort collision that will be paid by the liability provisions of the offending party's homeowner's coverage.
