That is exactly the problem. Too many think you put in age, gender and preferred plus and you've got a quote. And, no one carrier will fit every situation. For example who do you use for a someone who smokes 24 cigars a year to avoid tobacco rates? You need a tool that can help you with that and it isn't found on a carrier website. Then there are the requirements and case management. A P&C agent doesn't want to take the time to manage the case through UW.
If a P&C agent knows all the UW guides, has several carriers available and has the time to manage UW, then they should get a top street contract.
