P&C Producer's in FL Needed 60% New 40% Renewals

We're currently looking for 220 licensed agents in FL to refer P&C business to us, mostly personal lines and a very limited commercial appetite. We're paying 60% commissioned premium on the front end and 40% on renewals. You send us the lead we write it, service it and send you a check, That's it........To qualify for renewals all we ask is you send at least 4 referrals a month to qualify for renewal commissions when they kick in, when we get paid, you get paid.

I assume the 60/40 is the percentage of commissions paid and not percentage of premium.

Yes of course, if it were premium I'd be a rich man much quicker. The typical commission paid to the agency from the insurance companies range from 8% to 20% depending on the company the business is written with. So, producers get the 60% of what the agency is paid on new business and 40% on the renewals.
