So I was walking by the television yesterday and something struck me (and no it wasn't the wife

). Here it is less than a week after the passing of Sen Ted Kennedy and there are no more news stories about him or his life and accomplishments.
Now I consider myself to be a conservative and do not agree with many of the positions that Kennedy took and personally I think there are parts of his personal life that nobody can excuse. But considering the legislation he was involved with and his time serving our country in the senate and then compare that to the death of Anna Nicole Smith and the months of nausiating news coverage and I think that is part of whats wrong with this country.
Obviously many people must be interested in the death of that woman and would spend hours watching coverage of every new detail but would not take the time to know what is going on with the economy, important legislation etc....I know many of you ith think I've lost it and I am by no means defending Kennedy but I think the death of entertainers are given more time than people that make a huge difference in this country.
