Sorry guys, the last post didn't take the poll, had to re-do.

As many of you have seen, I'm posting like a mad-man trying to get information on starting out. I've been reading this forum and soaking in past posts, and posting new ones.

My posts are all different questions, all trying to figure out if I can do this, trying to play the odds etc ... I'm posting a poll to see what the 1st year experience has been like for everyone.
