A local (FL) GA has been wanting to recruit me for the senior health market. Now I can't remember much pre-exam about how the senior market works, but isn't it true, that business slows to a crawl after April 1 and doesn't pick up again until November?

Depends on what you are selling.

AEP is November 15th - Dec 31st
OEP is Jan 1st - March 31st
Lock in is April 1st - November 15th

If you have a SNP (special needs plan) they are open for enrollment all year long. Seniors have 1 change to a SNP plan regardless of the time of year.

Supplements are open all year. You will also have people aging into Medicare, coming off of group plans and people moving into the area.
