I bought 300 leads from them.... I did this while I was waiting for my Lic... my first venture into trying to get my new career kicked off.

$500 down the drain. 1/3 of the numbers were disconnected, the ones that answered 100% had no recollection of a survey or requesting information.

It took them a month to deliver... of course they processed my check in minutes. When you call back they will not let you talk to your saleperson... if you do get transferred to them... they hang up... or mine did. Carolyn. It hurts to admit you were a sucker... but I twas.

It's a shame that folks like this capitalize on the naivete of new agents. Live and learn I guess...caveat emptor!

Prerequisite to licensing ought to be a CE in "Agent 101."
The course description would include all the do's and dont's including the scam that is buying leads. I had a company quote me "as low as $69/preset appointment." Of course, these were pre-qualified and confirmed. Seemed to me at that price, they should already be sold and awaiting a licensed agent to come out and get a signature...

You never buy leads as your first venture. Your first venture needs to be sitting next to an experienced salesman while he makes his cold calls, listening and learning. Further, 300 leads for $500? You just bought a very expensive phone book!

Better yet try sitting next to an experienced Insurance Agent and watch how he advises his clients......big difference.....
