Good Day,

I am a newly-licensed Life and Accident/Health producer in Connecticut. I've worked 10+ years in the health insurance industry, although not in a sales capacity. Therefore I have a familiarity with the industry but am not currently aligned with any insurers.

I've read through the forums and found this to be the unusual path, as most folks tend to have some pre-existing relationship with an insurer - even if only through a recruitment process.

I'm looking for the best professional associations or societies that provide guidance and membership benefits for licensees in the Life and Accident/Health books of business. I've done plenty of "Googling" but now need some true colleague advice.
