Looks to be a major sponser. Has anyone tried this program? Sounds good, as most do. Thanks...

Re: Prospect Pro Question             Go to Top

Well I received this email from them today, I'm not really able to post it correctly without it turning into mumbojumbo, but you guys might have received it too. I am going to be doing the 1000 piece mailer for life insurance for $865. I was thinking of signing up with them a while back, but the size of the mailing was too small and I would be responsible doing the actual mail. What I really want is a way to blast out to a bunch of local qualified people without much effort on my end. Other than paying of course Now, they will mail the letters for you. I'm going to add this to my other marketing efforts so I can have something running in the background while I focus on building my client base. The mailing is going to start next week; I will let you know how it goes for me, stlcards. Anyone else using Prospect Pro for direct mail??

$865 for 1000 mailings is way to high.

You can find the same thing for $400 or less and they give you the list and everything.

Re: Prospect Pro Question             Go to Top

Well considering that I already paid....
My 1000 letters went into the mail today! It was so easy to set up, too.

This mspower mail company, looked into it. Will they provide me the sales letters as well? It looks like they will provide the data and the mailing. But I do not have any marketing letters, and with Prospect, the letters were already there, plus the data that they give me will be updated monthly so it is always fresh.

I'll still keep you posted on what results I get in the next few weeks.

$865 for 1000 mailings is way to high.

No, it's not way to high at all, especially if it works.

I did a 2000 piece mailing with these guys (1625) and I got 27 leads. (14 of which I got to buy policies, and I got 5 referrals from them)

Even if you do the 1000 piece mailing at 865, and you get 1 sale and you make a 1500.00 commission....then the cost is really irrelevant. I hear all day long...oh you should only spend about 25 per lead. This is funny to me...because the next thing you hear is how many leads they bought at 25 each and how many sales panned out of it. (which is usually close to zero)

The bigger question is, does it work. If it works, and you can spend 865.oo to make 1500.00 would you do it?

The best part of the Prospect-Pro Premier product (not the basic program they have) is that LEADS CALL YOU. That’s the best lead there is, period. I'd pay 200.00 per lead for those if I got a sale from it. Hell, I’d pay 500 a lead for tho9se if I got a sale from it! (Most of my sales turn over about a 1000.00 commission)

To many Advisors are stuck in the mindset that a lead should cost "X" amount. That's total nonsense. I would pay whatever they wanted as long as I made more than it cost me in the long run.

Wouldn't you?

On another note, any body out there doing seminars?

Oh, and Prospect-Pro Premier gives you a CRM to work the leads and phone numbers to follow up on! Doubt your getting that in you "econo" mail list.

I have 9 appointments today....arggg! Thanks god for 3 day weekends!

Re: Prospect Pro Question             Go to Top

If a lead program works, the actual cost becomes zero - regardless of the amount you pay. If you make money on it, then there is really no cost but a profit.

I'm not willing to pay $1 per piece for a mailing but that might be short-sighted. If i earn 3X the "normal" return for a less expensive mailing, then it's a better value.

I've just had a test mailing drop. I had a choice of a letter or a cheapie post card. I opted to be frugal. Did I make the right choice? I'll know in a couple of weeks if this mailing was a good idea. If I make a decent return, I might test a more expensive mailing to see if that increases my net.

Greensky - good points. I always run a piece in a designated zip code and try and keep as many of the variables as constant as possible to attain some usable metrics from the mail campaign. Then, if its a good piece, I keep it. If it doesn't pull, I can it, add a new one, and start over. I've accumulated a whole lot of pieces that work which I use consistently now...thus I always have a great response rate.

More thoughts...if I had a program that was cheap and it worked id use it. If another program came along and it was expensive, but it also worked (and I made an ROI off that program) I would use it too. Why just stop at one single program? Why not use multiple programs that work? I currnetly engage in about 4 prospecting programs and 3 web leads systejms that work for me so....

No, I did not receive any results!

Please save your money and do not give it to Prospect-Pro or Advisors Pro Shop!

Cost is NEVER irrelevant. The more you spend the less you have. $865= $635 in you pocket $400= $1100 in your pocket. Why pay more?

I think you should investigate first before buying such. It may be helpful for others but not for you.
