Selling Conseco?

I just met with a recruiter in Ohio for Conseco supplemental insurance. He stated that they only have about 15 agents in Ohio, that they give you 80% of your accounts to call on (so there is little to no cold calling) and that although you are a captive agent there are no quotas. Can I please hear the good, the bad and the ugly out there from anyone that has worked or tried to work for Conseco? Thanks!

Was this with PMA? As far as I know there can be some brokerage/ non-captive contracts that can be had- at least here in TX. So, I bet there are way more than 15 agents there if you can broker it.

I use to have stock in Conseco. Today it is worth less then a penny a share. It's worthless.

Just goto A.M. Best Company and see what they think of Conseco.

I can't think of a worse company.

Would that have been from a face-forward prostrate position, a face-up prostrate position, a kneeling position, or an all-fours position.
