Senior Direct USA             Go to Top

In reference to Senior Direct USA in Florence, MS S.D., is a fine Christian organization that provides a great service to the senior market and its clients.

I do apologize for any negative remarks or comments that I have made, that may have or been, or are damaging to Senior Direct. Senior Direct and all of its partners provide great services to its agents and all of the clients that they represent. I have no problems what so ever with Senior Direct, Lincoln Heritage, Senior Life Insurance Company or anyone else that is connected with Senior Direct.

I do apologize for lying and portraying unethical/ unhonest images about S.D w/o fully understaind their business model. S.D was nothing but unfront and honest in all dealing I have had with them.

I do wish the management team, president & ceo of S.D. nothing but a prosperous business career.

A fine Christian organization?

Looks like they threatened to sue you if you didn't post that?

Sounds like Senior Direct got a hold of some posts that you have made that put them in a negative spotlight.

If they think that we cannot see right through that post, then they are either doing something wrong that they are trying to cover up or that ignorant that we would just accept that post at face value.

I think I saw some of their training videos, but I could not understand them since they were made in the 1930's and all in German.

Re: Senior Direct USA             Go to Top

Been there - have the t-shirt. Posted my comments on Mega/UGA/NASE/Cornerstone or whatever name they're going by and they mailed me many nasty grams threatening to sue years ago.

Really? Wow...so there goes free speech. You simply cannot lie about a company/product - however if your opinion is they're unethical, horrible or anything else then that's your opinion and all the treats to sue are just scare tactics.

That being said, if you post something false then you're in trouble.

For example; you can say this site looks like a 6th grader designed it and you're fine since it does in fact look like a 6th grader designed it: TARGETLEADS.COM

Another caveat - if you make nasty comments about a carrier you're appointed with they reserve the right to take your appointment away - free speech or not.

Why would a christian need final expense? Only we atheists think death is "final."

Re: Senior Direct USA             Go to Top

I have been threatened with several lawsuits over posts made in the forum. In the last year, I have been contacted by three different lawyers about their clients.

What I have noticed when reading through the relevant posts is that although there was no slander, there are a lot of people on the forum that are very quick to make negative judgments about companies based on a few minor available details.

The fact is, the critiques are almost always correct. However, it still pays to be a bit more studied in our judgment and assumptions. So far, on the advice of my lawyer, we have not had to take down any posts for slander. Hopefully we can keep that up.

Overwhelmingly site owners are protected against the posts made by members. On huge forums it's near impossible to police every post and cross check it for accuracy.

If a company wants to sue the member who made a post you might be forced by court order to give up that member's information including IP.

Mel,

I pulled up msweb06's posts and cannot see ANYTHING that a reasonable person would consider grounds for objection by Senior Direct USA. The only conclusion I can come to is that someone has deleted the so-called objectionable post, or else members have jumped to the conclusion that msweb06 has been threatened by Senior Direct USA, when in fact that is not the case.

I consider it important to know: 1) Has any post on this forum been modified or deleted in regard to this subject? 2) Has this member (msweb06) in fact been required to post this message under duress?

I realize that msweb06 may object to the disclosure, so my request is to ask his permission.

MSWEB06: Were you requested to post this message, or did you do this on your own iniative?

Makes me want to cry too. Actually pisses me off but I will get over that.
Is this not a public forum? Large or larger organizations have been screwing over individuals for eons and now that we have forums like this to get opinions and decent advice on the ethics of companies, they turn to their pit attorneys like a bunch of cry babies. Didn't have enough guts to come on here and defend themselves?

Oh well, I'm getting ready to do business with an organization that from all outward appearances and from what I have been told are good guys and deliver what they promise. I'm warming up a thread to solicit opinions on that very company on this forum. I would expect my colleagues to warn me if I am heading for disaster. I would do the same for others....and have!

Jeez, "Christian Organization" .............what cry babies...

Right on! Hypocrits are quite fond of claiming to be "Christian". I should point out, however, that just simply claiming to be Christian does not necessarily make one. In this case, I would more rightly assume this CEO is a bully, rather than a true follower of Christ.
