Part A:

Part A premiums will be reduced for those who did not have enough quarters to qualify for coverage to $409 per month or $224, depending on how many quarters they paid in.

The Part A deductible will increase $44 to $1,260, covering days 1-60.

Days 61-90 in the hospital will be $315 per day and 91-150 will be $630 per day (lifetime reserve days)

Skilled nursing co-payments will also increase to $157.50 for days 21-100.

Part B:

Part B remains unchanged with most beneficiaries paying $104.90 per month and an annual deductible of $147.

Those who have higher incomes (less than 5% of Medicare beneficiaries) will still pay a higher monthly premium, but at the same rates as 2014.

----------

Also: The deductible for HD Plan F will be $2,180 in 2015

Probably in Medicare and You 2015, too.

Uh... no.

Part A and Part B costs
The 2015 premium and deductible amounts for Part A
and Part B weren’t available at the time of printing. To get
the most up-to-date information on these costs, visit

Do the 2015 MA plans adjust the skilled nursing copays to reflect this change? Most of the $0 plans are $156 per day for days 21-100.

Medicare should release the 2015 Medicare costs publication soon. This is a two page report that goes over the deductibles and co-payments. I just checked Medicare.gov and 2014 is still there...it will be replaced by 2015 once it is produced.

As for the MA plans, there should be some note in the SOB stating the figures are for 2014 and may change, if they are defaulting to Medicare's schedule.
