Anyone Attend UHC 2016 Roll Out

I have never had an issue with the 20%, I have over 600 with uhc and not a complaint in over 5 years from customers on this topic.
Do other companies have set amounts? Yep, do other companies have higher copays? Yep, it all comes down to the network now for my customers.

Amazingly enough, when given the choice, the majority of my clients choose a plan with a flat dollar amount copay. But I agree, the network is the most important thing. Fortunately me for me, the AARP branded plan just isn't as appealing to my clients as their other options. They are coming out with a new product in the Atlanta area that has a flat dollar copay for outpatient surgery/services. I wonder why they are adding a product like that? Could it be they've heard from this particular market that they want a product like that? Unfortunately it is going to have a high premium ($55 per month).

Again, I'm not trying to convince anyone here that one is better than the other or degrade you for selling the AARP branded product. I'll continue to do what works for my clients and you continue to do what works for yours.

Totally agree that it is what is best for the client that is what counts.
I have Aetna available to me with a flat fee on outpatient surgery but that plan has other drawbacks. No plan is perfect, that we can ALL agree on lol

One of my FMOs that has representatives at the UHC roll out told me that this is the first year they have been talking about expansion and new business instead of retaining business so hopefully they will be a bigger player this year.

I could not find the link for Senior Market Sales but Senior Market Specialists is also having an UHC roll out webinar tomorrow at 12 and 1. I did not see anything on Ritter's site but that is usually the three FMOs I used for Senior Health products.

You are welcome agentjhc.

Humana typically comes in around 3rd week of August.

We have the First Look from Cigna HealthSpring (got it last month - June 23). I believe they are still waiting on CMS final approval.

Flat dollar amount on P1 and P2 in my area. The best news on AARP/UHC in my area is they are not at war with providers and facilities. The network has improved significantly from what was available in AEP last year.
