Is Carcinoma In Situ Considered Internal Cancer?

Med Supp prospect diagnosed 4 yrs ago and borderline obese.

Will Philadelphia American take her?

I think it will vary from company to company. It depends on whether they consider it as having cancer. You'll have to call them in the morning.

They don't ask height/weight.

Not on the app but will during the phone interview.

The only reason they ask for it during the phone interview is to determine whether they are going to be able to do the life pre-approved offer. It is Irrelevant for the med sup interview and they will approve regardless of the numbers.

I caught me off guard when it came up during a PI a year ago. Submitted app last year on a lady, BMI over 35. Type II, maybe high BP and/or cholesterol but all under control with minimal medication.

She had been turned down before. I figured since they don't ask on the app it wouldn't come up during the PI.

She would have been turned down for BMI alone with anyone else.
