Diabetic with Neuropathy

New era will take diabetics as long as they are not on insulin. If anyone needs a contract please let me know we do a ton of business with them they are great to have. I just wish they were in more states.
So diabetic with neuropathy a-ok with new era?

Another agent mentioned that New Era takes diabetics...any experience with them?

The diabetes isn't the problem...it when it's combined with heart problems or with complications of diabetes, such as neuropathy.

New Era will take diabetics, but not if they're on insulin.

What other health conditions/meds ?

I had someone with neuropathy approved by Aetna a few months ago. Used to be type II. Lost weight. Improved diet. No longer on diabetic medication such as metformin but does take gabapentin for neuropathy. A1c hovers around 5.

Once you have nerve damage it doesn't go away.
