Employer MA Plan

I have couple that are on an Employer MA plan and are unhappy with out of pocket cost. Is there any restriction to moving them to Supplement now or do they have to wait for AEP?
In advance, thank you for the feedback and have a great AEP season!!!

Kindest Regards,

You should be able to move them now, although you might want to find out if they have met their max out of pocket already or how much they have left.

I've done these before at all times in the year

Its like any other group plan

Either they can exit anytime or it will be based on employers enrollment/disenrollment times

AEP has nothing to do with it

and usually can exit most times

Vic - that's very

good information but hard to

read because you haven't clue how to use periods or

sentences

At least I think it's good

information because I never read anything you write

because you don't understand simple things

like how to make things

readable

There is one other thing I did learn however
I had a client who did switch mid year from retirement MA
and all the drugs she had on previous plan did count towards doughnut hole

Can absolutely exit anytime because the individual MAPD enrollment automatically ends the EGHP MAPD so employer has no control here.Of course this is after you have determined the individual MAPD is a better value -which it almost always is.Little bit more more involved if they have MA with non PDP EGHP rx plan.

Fun fact: You still get the full true up commission even though they are going from MA to MA.At least I have every time
