LIS Drug Restrictions?

A client with LIS, level 1 - 100% is having cost issues for Suboxon, she said it's costing a couple of hundred dollars each month. I have searched but cannot locate if there are drugs not covered by LIS [it is on he plan's formulary list]. Is there such a list? Or, ideas why the cost would be so high?

Contact her drug plan. Make sure the LIS is loaded on their end.

Thanks for the suggestion, already checked and they do have the LIS listed.

Is she over the quantity limit or insisting on name brand when a generic is available?

Be sure you check all details. Play with the number of tabs/caps, switch between caps/tabs <--- that alone can make a drug a non-form or a t1 generic at times.

LIS allows a monthly plan changes.

Yes, we're looking at options. She is insisting on named brand because "it's the only one that works." Meeting with her again after Thanksgiving.
