Med Supp Prospect Takes Coumadin - Who Will Take Him?

Sorry to revive this thread, got a 78 year old, he's talking meds for bp and coumadin for the blood clots in his leg he got about 6 months ago.
Do blood clots fall under peripheral vascular disease?
Medico, PA or EQ for this?

Medico's a no, and Equitable's a yes. Not sure about PA, you'll have to check with UW

Every company looks at it differently. Peripheral vascular disease is a narrowing of the arteries, but Medico considers a blood clot to be PVD, Equitable doesn't. PA has a 5 year look back on PVD, but not sure if they put blood clots under that.

A bit surprised no one's mentioned UnitedHealthcare on this one?

If client in TN is 65-67, the AARP plan would not upcharge.

The client's 78......I used to miss little details like that until I got glasses yesterday. Do you need glasses like I did Bob? ;)
