Medicare Commission Cuts?

OK I've been really busy with AEP and haven't kept up on all the news...I read on another forum something about a bulletin that came out announcing 50% cuts in commissions from Medicare. I hadn't heard anything about this, can someone please explain? Thanks!

I haven't heard a thing about any cuts for MAPD that are coming from Medicare.

They need to cut the ridiculous amounts that our uplines receive. If they were to cut our commissions any more, they'd have to get illegals to do our work.

50%? More like 5%. The true-up is going from $425 to $408 with renewals at half that (with higher amounts in some markets).

I think you were referencing last summer. There was a potential bill that would have reduced our renewal MA commission. That bill went nowhere. Safe for now.
