Medicare Lead Cards in CA

Recently, I came across a doctor's office and became the broker of record for the office. As I was talking with the office manager, she asked me if I did anything with Medicare and I said "yes." She asked if I'd be willing to help her with enrolling individuals in MAPD plans and I said yes. She then told me she could provide me the contact info for 3-4 Medicare beneficiaries per month and enroll them in a plan. I thought about the CMS rules about contact and I know that the carrier have lead cards, but do I have to use a carrier-specific lead card. Or can I generate my own? If I generate my own without any carrier logos or information, do I need to have that preapproved by my carriers or CMS?

You can indeed design your own generic card. Make sure you don't mention zero premium (little or no premium is ok) nor specific benefits.
