Does anyone know if the State of Texas covers dental for Medicare beneficiaries who have original plus Medicaid? Basically what I want to know is if dental is a benefit they can only get through a dual plan.

Texas Medicaid does NOT cover adult dental. Some may find inexpensive clinics that will provide low-cost work, but it's not free. If your Dual plan has a good network and good benefits, you can do very well with the Duals. But, you will have to hold their hands, especially in the first few months. Which Texas city are you in?
