Retirees will still buy MA and Medigap plans and they will grumble about how the govt has given them the shaft.
Go back a couple of years when SS checks did not get COLA increases and you may recall the number of people that weren't real happy.
No COLA for 2010 and 2011 but yet prices for other things (not just health care) continued to increase.
This was compounded by historically low returns on CD's and bonds.
